Flock Social is a paid Instagram growth service that follows and unfollows accounts on your behalf in the hope that people follow you back. This Flock Social review sets out what Flock’s own pages say as of 21 October 2026, where those pages disagree with each other, and what the service means for your Instagram account.
We do desk research only. We did not sign up for, pay for or run Flock Social, so everything below comes from Flock’s own pages and from the independent sources listed at the end, all read on 21 October 2026. Earlier SUEVU coverage of Flock dates from 2020 and contained claims we could not confirm, so this page replaces it.
Quick answer: Flock Social is still operating and sells three Instagram plans from $39 a month, with a 7-day free trial on the monthly plans. Its pages describe automated following and unfollowing on your account. They do not say whether you must hand over your Instagram password, and the company says it cannot guarantee growth. Its pricing page also lists older plans that do not match the home page.
Status: active. Price from: $39 a month (the page also shows $19 a month billed as $229 a year). Safety: automated activity on your account, risk of action blocks.

What Flock Social is
Flock Social presents itself as an organic Instagram growth service. Its pages say it targets people who are genuinely interested in your niche, using accounts similar to yours and hashtags, and advertise “zero spam, no bots, and not one fake follower”. It sits in our Growth Services category: you pay a monthly fee and the service works on your account instead of selling a one-off batch of followers. Our roundup of Instagram growth services compares more of them.

The site says it manages more than 15,000 clients. The older SUEVU review quoted 5,000, so the figure has changed, and both are the company’s own marketing numbers that we have not verified. The pages carry a 2026 copyright line and recent blog dates, and we found no closure or rebrand notice. The 2020 review said the service was previously called FlockMgmt, and we found no current page that confirms or contradicts the earlier name. A waitlist for a separate TikTok service also appears on the site.
How Flock Social works
The FAQ describes an automated process: “our system follows users that fit your audience.” You choose the audience through similar accounts and hashtags, the service follows and later unfollows people who fit, and some of them follow you back.
The 2020 SUEVU review claimed Flock was “a system of real people” working behind phones, with no automation. That does not match the current FAQ, which speaks of a system, and we cannot confirm either description, so we do not repeat the 2020 claim. Flock’s pages also do not state whether you must give it your Instagram password. The pricing page lists “multi-proxy login support”, which suggests the service logs in to your account, but it does not explain the method. Treat the login method as unconfirmed and read the sign-up screen carefully before entering anything. For why handing over a login is the main danger, see our guide to Instagram automation. Our Bigbangram review covers another tool whose terms say it needs your username and password.
Features
The three current Instagram plans list the same features on the pricing page:
- Growth pods network
- Real-time growth analytics
- 24/7 live support
- Follow and unfollow automation
- Multi-proxy login support
- Account and hashtag targeting, with advanced targeting filters
- Weekly Instagram audits
- Whitelist and blacklist
- Welcome DM automation
- Close friends auto-adder
- Gender filtering
- Auto-like after follow
The plans differ in the growth estimate: 600 to 800 or more followers a month on IG Newbie, 800 to 1,200 or more on IG Explorer and 1,200 to 1,600 or more on IG Adventurer. These are Flock’s estimates. The FAQ says “we are unable to offer any guarantees” about follower growth, so read them as marketing, not promises. The followers apps roundup covers the app route instead.

Flock Social pricing (read on 21 October 2026)
| Plan | Monthly | Yearly | Estimated followers a month |
|---|---|---|---|
| IG Newbie | $39 | $19 a month, billed $229 | 600 to 800+ |
| IG Explorer (marked “most popular”) | $69 | $34 a month, billed $409 | 800 to 1,200+ |
| IG Adventurer | $119 | $64 a month, billed $769 | 1,200 to 1,600+ |
The pricing page also lists two older-looking plans, Instagram Rising Star at $49 a month and Instagram as a Business at $99 a month. The 2020 review sold the Business plan at $69. They do not match the current plans, and we cannot tell whether they can still be bought. The Business plan lists “guaranteed 1,000 monthly followers”, which sits oddly beside the FAQ’s statement that no guarantees are offered. Check the final price and promises at sign-up.
- Free trial: the monthly plans show a 7-day free trial button. The yearly options do not mention a trial.
- Cancelling: the pages say there are no contracts or minimum commitments. You can cancel by contacting the team, and the service keeps working until the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds: the pages we read do not mention a refund policy, and we could not load a terms page (the /terms address returned “not found”). Ask before you pay.
- Discount codes: the 2020 review printed a 20% code. We could not confirm that any code works today, so we do not list one.
Safety and risks
Flock’s FAQ says its primary focus is the security of your Instagram profile, and claims “zero risk of losing your profile” across more than 15,000 managed accounts with “0 banned users”. These are company claims, and a claim of zero risk should be read with care, since the same FAQ admits it cannot guarantee results.

The service performs follow, unfollow and like actions on your account automatically. In November 2018, Instagram announced that it was removing inauthentic likes, follows and comments given by accounts that use third-party apps, said such apps violate its Community Guidelines and Terms of Use, and warned that accounts which keep using them may see their experience impacted. It also noted that people who share login details with such apps make their accounts less secure. Nobody outside Instagram can say how any single account will be treated, but action blocks and reduced reach are real possibilities.
Businesses should also consider the US Federal Trade Commission’s rule on fake reviews and testimonials. It bans selling or buying fake indicators of social media influence, such as followers or views produced by a bot or hijacked account, but only where the buyer knew or should have known they were fake and used them to misrepresent their influence for a commercial purpose. Flock says its followers are not bots, which we cannot verify. This is not legal advice.
Practical points if you still go ahead:
- Use an account you can afford to have limited, not your only brand account.
- Turn on two-step verification and use a password you use nowhere else.
- Do not run a second automation tool on the same account at the same time.
- Check the account’s login activity in Instagram’s settings from time to time.
Pros and cons
Pros
- A 7-day free trial on monthly plans.
- Targeting by similar accounts, hashtags and, on the current plans, gender.
- No contracts, with cancellation through the team.
- The FAQ says plainly that growth is not guaranteed.
- A working site with recent activity.
Cons
- Automated actions carry a risk of action blocks.
- The login method and any password requirement are not explained on the pages we read.
- The pricing page mixes current plans with older ones, and promises a guarantee in one place and denies it in another.
- No refund policy or terms page found.
- Follower quality and retention are not documented by any independent source we found.
Who it suits
Flock Social suits someone who wants hands-off follow and unfollow growth, accepts the account risk and will confirm the price and login method before paying. It does not suit anyone with a single account their income depends on, or anyone who needs a refund promise in writing. To see free options first, read our free Instagram followers comparison.
Alternatives
Services of the same kind include Nitreo, Upleap, Kicksta and SocialCaptain (now called UpGrow). All of them act on your account or sell followers and carry similar kinds of risk.
Flock Social FAQ
Is Flock Social legit?
It is an operating business with a working site as of 21 October 2026. That does not make it safe for your account, because automation carries a risk of action blocks.
Does Flock Social have a free trial?
The monthly plans show a 7-day free trial button. The FAQ does not describe the trial terms, so check what happens when it ends.
How much does Flock Social cost?
The current plans are $39, $69 and $119 a month, or $229, $409 and $769 billed yearly. The page also lists older plans at $49 and $99.
Does Flock Social need my Instagram password?
The pages we read do not say. The service lists multi-proxy login support, so assume it needs access to your account and read the sign-up screen before you enter anything.
Can Flock Social get my account banned?
Flock claims zero risk, but nobody can promise that. Instagram has said it acts against accounts that use third-party apps for inauthentic activity.
Was Flock Social called FlockMgmt?
Our 2020 review said so. We could not confirm it from the current pages.
