Famoid is a paid service that sells Instagram followers, likes and views, and this Famoid review sets out what the company says on its own pages as of 21 October 2026. It also covers where independent review sources disagree, and what buying followers means for your Instagram account.
We do desk research only. We did not sign up for, pay for or order from Famoid, so every detail below comes from Famoid’s public pages and the outside sources listed at the end, all read on 21 October 2026.
Quick answer: Famoid is still operating and says it has sold followers, likes and views since 2017. It asks only for a public username or post link, never a password, and delivers through “third-party ads” instead of bots, according to its pages. Reviews of it are mixed, and buying followers still breaks Meta’s rules on buying engagement, so treat it as a risk to weigh, not a safe shortcut.

What Famoid is
Famoid describes itself as a social media marketing agency founded in 2017. It sells Instagram followers, likes, views and Reels engagement, plus an automatic likes plan and a managed growth plan, and it has TikTok and Facebook products too. It sits in our Growth Services category: you pay per order, and the service adds numbers to your profile or posts.
Its Terms of Service name the operator as “Famoid, operating under the laws of Dubai, United Arab Emirates”, with a contact address in Newark, Delaware, United States. The homepage claims more than 2 million orders delivered. That is the company’s own figure, and we have not verified it. Our earlier 2021 coverage of Famoid dates from a different version of the site, so this page replaces it.
One thing to know before you order: the terms say the services are “intended solely for personal use” and “for self-entertainment”, and that commercial use or use on someone else’s account is “strictly prohibited”. The company says it does not serve business accounts.
How Famoid works
According to Famoid’s pages, you pick a service and size, give it a public username (or a post link for likes and views), and pay. Famoid says it then shows your profile or post to people through third-party ads, and some of them follow, like or watch. It says it does not make accounts, use bots, or log in to your profile.
The company says orders start within minutes, and that larger orders are paced over hours or a few days “so the growth looks normal”. Its advice is to keep the profile public while an order runs, and to start with 5% to 15% of your current follower count, then wait about a month before ordering again.
The homepage also says Famoid “can’t vouch for every account an ad network brings”. That is an honest admission, and it means the company does not promise that every follower is an active, long-term one. We cannot check how the delivery really works, because we did not place an order, so treat “real people from ads” as Famoid’s description of its own method.

The homepage says support is open 24/7 and that most tickets get an answer within 15 minutes. Another page says Famoid does not sell comments or story views. Those are the company’s claims, and we have not timed them.

The FAQ gives two sample prices: 1,000 followers cost $15.95 and 1,000 likes cost $13.95. The order page also shows larger packs with “% off” labels next to a struck-through price. We did not record each pack price, so check the live order page before you decide, or compare prices in our followers apps roundup.
- Payment: the story page lists cards through Nuvei, Apple Pay and crypto through Coinbase Commerce. There is no subscription on the standard packs.
- Free trial: we did not find a free trial or free followers offer on the pages we read. SocialFollow publishes a free offer, and our SocialFollow review covers it. For a free like exchange instead of paid orders, see our Like4Like review.
- Discounts: we did not find a coupon code on Famoid’s pages. Do not trust a code from a third-party list without checking it at checkout.
- Refunds: the refund policy, updated 21 August 2026, promises a full refund if an order does not deliver, if you ask within 30 days. It says a fully delivered order cannot be refunded, and it also excludes orders placed on the wrong username or a private account.
What reviews say
The ratings do not agree with each other, so here are the three we could read.
- Famoid’s homepage: shows “4.0 from 22 ratings”.
- Famoid’s own reviews page: shows 4.7 from 4,990 ratings, made up of its customer survey and reviews first posted on Google. It says the written reviews are read by its team before they go live. A company-run page is not an independent check.
- SmartCustomer: shows no rating and an active flag, dated 9 October 2025, for “suspicious review activity”. The page says many reviews “look fake and are currently being investigated or have been removed”.
We could not open Famoid’s Trustpilot page. Trustpilot returned an error to our request, so we cannot report a score from it. Given the gap between a 4.0, a 4.7 and a flagged third-party page, we would not rely on star ratings from any single site.
Safety and risks
Famoid’s main safety point is real: it does not ask for your Instagram password. Services that do ask for it can read your messages and post as you, so a no-password model removes one risk. It does not remove the others.
Meta’s Spam policy says it does not allow “selling, buying, or exchanging for engagement, such as likes, shares, views, follows, clicks”, and Meta’s Community Standards on spam are public. Instagram has also said it removes inauthentic likes and follows that accounts gain through third-party apps. In November 2018, Instagram announced that accounts that keep using such apps may see their experience affected. Famoid’s own FAQ says it cannot promise anything on Instagram’s behalf, and that followers may unfollow later like any real audience.
Businesses carry an additional risk. The US Federal Trade Commission’s rule on fake reviews and testimonials bans selling or buying fake indicators of social media influence, such as bot-generated followers. It applies only when the buyer knew or should have known they were fake and used them to misstate their influence for a commercial purpose. Famoid says its followers are not bots, but its terms also forbid commercial use. This is not legal advice.
If you still go ahead, keep these points in mind:
- Never share your password with any growth service, and turn on two-step verification.
- Check the username before you pay, because a wrong username is not refundable.
- Start with a small order and do not stack several services on one account.
- Do not use it on a brand or client account.
