How Safe Is Followliker And Should You Use It – A Review
If you’re searching the Internet for Followliker reviews, then you may be wondering if this social media automation tool is safe to use. To save you some time, I gave Followliker a try to see just how effective it really is.
In this Followliker review, I’ll give you the rundown on a variety of useful topics including: how Followliker’s key features work, its pricing and plans, and some of the pros and cons of using this tool. Then, I’ll give you my final verdict on whether or not this tool is safe to use for Instagram follower growth.
According to Followliker’s website, this tool is powerful, reliable, and flexible. But, is there any truth to these claims, or is this just clever marketing jargon? Let’s take a closer look at this Instagram automation tool.
Followliker’s Key Features
When it comes to social media automation tools, everyone wants to know about the cool features each service offers. So, let’s start there.
Followliker offers quite a few automation features. But, if you look closely, you’ll see that this is just your run of the mill growth tool.
This tool offers automation functions for a variety of platforms, but since Instagram is the most important social media platform these days, I’ll just discuss the Instagram automation features.
With Followliker, you can auto-follow and auto-unfollow users. This function mimics the following growth trick that involves following accounts and later unfollowing them after they follow you back. To determine which accounts to follow on behalf of your account, Followliker targets users based on their location, language, and the hashtags they use. This tool also unfollows users who don’t follow you back after a certain number of days. You can also white list users that you don’t want the bot to auto-unfollow (like your favorite celebrities and influencers).
Auto Direct Messaging and Commenting
Followliker also allows you to send automated direct messages to your followers. Some brands like to send welcome messages and thank you notes to new followers. Personally, I’m not a fan of doing this, so this feature didn’t excite me much. You can also auto-comment on photos. Many Instagram users can tell when a comment or message is automated, so I suggest using these functions with caution.
Followliker allows users to automate liking and unliking photos. You can like the photos of users who fit your target audience or create a list of photos to auto-like. You can also auto-unlike photos after a certain number of days. I’m not sure why you would want to do this, but it’s a feature that Followliker includes.
Another cool feature that Followliker includes is the ability to share photos and videos to your Instagram feed. If you’re a busy social media marketer who likes to schedule their content calendar in advance, then you’ll appreciate this function. Followliker can post directly to Instagram, but I’d be careful using this tool since Followliker isn’t an official Instagram partner.
Getting Started With Followliker
If you’re interested in giving Followliker a try, then you should know that this tool does not offer a free trial. To get started with Followliker, the first step is to choose a plan. I’ll go into detail about the plans later, but you have to purchase a separate plan for each social media platform.
After signing up for a plan, you’ll get an email that contains a link to download the Followliker software. This software is only compatible with Windows, so if you’re a Mac or Linux user you’ll also have to download a virtual private server. Although Followliker claims to be a super flexible program, you’ll have to go through quite a lot to use this tool with a Mac or Linux operating system.
Once you download the Followliker software and get it set up, the next step is to personalize your settings. You’ll have to choose which tasks you want to automate and which users you want to target. You can choose to interact with users based on their location, the accounts they engage with, and the hashtags they’re using. From there, Followliker’s bot takes over.
Because Followliker’s bot performs so many tasks at once, I suggest avoiding manual interactions while running this software. This helps to keep the number of interactions from your account under Instagram’s limits. If you constantly cross this threshold, you run the risk of having your account banned or disabled.
Followliker’s Pricing & Plans
Although Followliker is compatible with multiple social media platforms, you have to purchase a separate license for each one. This means that if you want to use Followliker for both Instagram and Twitter, then you’ll have to purchase two licenses.
For each license, you can expect to pay a one time fee ranging from $57.99 to $97.99 (depending on how many profiles you’d like to automate). After your first month, you’ll pay a monthly fee of $5.99. While the monthly price is quite affordable, Followliker requires a pretty big initial investment, especially if you’d like to use it for more than one social media platform. But, if you choose to purchase all of the Followliker licenses, then you can do so for a discounted rate.
With Followliker’s Instagram edition you can:
- Find and follow users based on their location, gender, and the hashtags they use
- Auto-follow a user’s followers and following
- Create custom lists of users to auto-follow
- Follow users who like and comment on your photos
- Auto-unfollow accounts that don’t follow you back
- Blacklist users
- Schedule and share photos and videos
- Send automated direct messages
- Auto-mention users
- Randomize your automated tasks
- Run multiple accounts at once
For other social media platforms, Followliker offers similar features. Of course, the features are tailored for the functions that you can perform for each social media platform.
Followliker: The Pros
Here are a few of my favorite things about Followliker:
Their Website is Secure
Followliker’s website is completely secure, so you can feel comfortable inputting your payment information if you decide to purchase one of their plans. They also have verified and authenticated payment gateways.
Followliker is Versatile
Although most of us are only concerned with growth on Instagram these days, it’s cool that you can use Followliker to automate your growth on multiple social media platforms. Followliker’s services are compatible with Twitter, Pinterest, and Tumblr as well.
Followliker: The Cons
Here are a few of my least favorite things about Followliker:
It’s Only Compatible With Windows Operating Systems
Followliker claims to be a flexible time-saver, but this statement doesn’t apply to Mac or Linux users. If you want to give it a try and you’re not a Windows user, you’ll have to download a remote Windows server. This can be a time-consuming and expensive process. In my opinion, Followliker isn’t worth the time. Several similar tools on the market offer more flexibility by allowing you to use their services from any device.
It Creates Spam
Although Followliker offers some cool automation features, the tasks it performs can come across as spam to some users. Instagram users have caught on to the use of automated comments and direct messages. For some users, they are obvious and annoying. Followliker relies heavily on these features rather than optimizing its functions for your target audience.
This automation tool also performs tasks like randomly mentioning users in captions and comments. No one wants their notifications feed clogged up with random mentions that have nothing to do with them or their Instagram account. As an avid Instagram user, I can assure you that you’re more likely to get blocked than followed by doing this.
While these techniques used to work well in the past, I’d stay away from automated your account in this way. Everyone appreciates receiving more likes and follows, so I’d stick to automating these tasks only.
It’s Expensive for Emerging Brands and Influencers
My least favorite thing about Followliker is its pricing structure. Each Followliker license costs nearly $100! That’s a pretty steep investment for someone who is in the beginning stages of growing their brand on social media.
It’s possible that Followliker will meet your needs and the license will pay for itself over time. But, if you decide to give Followliker a try and you end up not liking it, that money goes down the drain. In my opinion, this is too much of a risk, especially when there are so many similar tools available that are more affordable.
Overall, if you’re an emerging influencer or brand who’s interested in automating on multiple social media platforms, there are more affordable options available.
Questionable Site Reviews
Followliker’s Reviews & Testimonials page is quite different from what other similar services offer. Their testimonial page allows customers to submit reviews. Although this normally would make a site’s reviews seem more authentic, Followliker misses the mark with this. For me, it’s a major red flag that this service only has glowing reviews posted. I’m interested in whether or not the submitted reviews are vetted before they get posted on Followliker’s website.
With social media automation tools, it’s also helpful to be able to view real accounts who have made use of the service. I tend to question the reliability of reviews that don’t include the customer’s social media handles. I like having the option to view real, non-affiliated accounts that have grown their following using a service before making a purchase.
Bad Online Reputation
When you search for Followliker reviews that aren’t affiliated with the site, the reviews are almost all negative. Followliker has a one-star rating on Trustpilot. Past customers report negative experiences like disabled Instagram accounts, lost login credentials, and unexpected fees. The reviews on Trustpilot further confirm my suspicion that they only post positive reviews on their site.
Conclusion: Should You Use Followliker?
I don’t recommend using Followliker. Not only is this tool difficult to set up, but it’s also pretty expensive. Followliker has some cool features, but plenty of other social media automation tools on the market offer the same functions for less money and hassle. This tool also has a bad reputation online, so to play it safe, I’d stay away from Followliker.

Kenji is a machine-learned Instagram bot that mimics human behavior. With this tool, you won’t have to worry about spamming other users. Another great thing about this tool is the price. Unlike Followliker, this Instagram bot doesn’t require any upfront costs. In fact, you can get started using Kenji for free! They offer a 100% free three-day trial that doesn’t require you to submit any payment information.
If you’re a busy social media marketer who’s always on the go, then you’ll appreciate the fact that Kenji can be used from just about any device. This tool works completely within your web browser.
