Blazing SEO Review – How Useful Is It? See Here

I’ve written up a comprehensive Blazing SEO review after trying out its proxies.

All the information I’ve collected is laid out here for your convenience.

After you go through it, rest assured that you’ll know whether you should get proxies from this proxy provider.

Stay tuned!

What Is Blazing SEO?

A screenshot of Blazing SEO’s homepage

Blazing SEO was a small startup founded by Neil Emeigh in 2013. Soon, it developed into one of the leading proxy providers, at least when it comes to datacenter proxies.

The fact that they only sell datacenter proxies can be a good and a bad thing, depending on your needs and use case.

To me, the lack of residential proxies was a dealbreaker, but it might not be for you.

The pros of the datacenter proxies are the following:

  • They are faster
  • They are cheaper

But the cons are perhaps more pronounced:

  • They do not belong to real users, so websites more easily detect them
  • You can get blacklisted
  • Social media algorithms may ban them

With all of these benefits and downsides in mind, let’s see what the scenarios where you can use Blazing SEO’s datacenter proxies are.

They will give you the necessary anonymity because you won’t use your IP address. Instead, it will come from a data center.

This privacy can be useful in some situations, such as:

  • Internet usage monitoring
  • Web security
  • Brand protection

SEO Blazing’s proxies, as the name suggests, also can be used for market research purposes:

  • SEO & SERP research
  • Price comparison
  • Data extraction

I’d mention affiliate link checking and Ad verification here, too.

But the not-so-great location coverage of Blazing SEO’s IPs means you might not be able to test it in the region that you wish.

As mentioned, datacenter proxies come with certain risks that do not accompany residential proxies.

This is because they are not connected to an ISP that provides IPs to real users.

That’s why you don’t want to use datacenter proxies for social media automation software.

Chances are that you’ll end up blocked or banned soon after and that you’ll need to buy a huge amount of datacenter proxies to keep your bot up.

Some might ask: What about other automation bots, such as sneaker and shopping bots?

Well, Blazing SEO sells two proxy products for these purposes:

  • Sneaker proxies
  • Shopify proxies

While they will help you get the limited deals, they are only USA-based; so that’s something to keep in mind.

Best Blazing SEO Features

If you are interested in the features of Blazing SEO’s datacenter proxies, read this section.

Proxy Pool

You can use around 300,000 datacenter IPs.

This is on a par with other datacenter proxy providers – you’ll need a large pool because they might get blacklisted, and you don’t want all of your IPs to get blacklisted at the same time.

Dedicated vs. Semi-dedicated

You can buy dedicated and semi-dedicated datacenter proxies from Blazing SEO.

What’s the difference?

Well, the former are used only by you. So, albeit getting dedicated proxies is more expensive, it’s much preferred.

On the flip side, semi-dedicated proxies will be shared between up to 3 users. This can pose certain risks and limitations.

For instance, if someone who is sharing an IP with you uses it on a certain website, you won’t be able to use it for the same purpose.

Rotating vs. Static

If you get Blazing SEO’s rotating proxies, your IP will change as you set it up on intervals from 10 to 120 minutes.

This is convenient in case you are scraping data, but not so if you are sneaker copping.

Locations

Blazing SEO failed to impress me with the proxy server locations.

Their IPs are limited to 17 countries (they promise they’ll add more), and there is no city targeting.

Also, not all types of proxies feature all locations.

For instance, you can only choose from three locations for their rotating and semi-dedicated proxies:

  • Germany
  • USA
  • Brazil

And for sneaker and Shopify proxies, you’ll be limited only to the United States.

Unlimited Bandwidth

As you pay per proxy that will last during your subscription timeframe, Blazing SEO will not charge you for bandwidth.

They say that they handle 25 petabytes per month, with their users averaging up to 100 GB of traffic monthly.

This is pretty convenient.

However, due to the structure of the Blazing SEO pricing, it might not be the most affordable solution out there.

You can see more details in the pricing section below.

Blazing SEO Pricing Take a look at an instance of Blazing SEO’s pricing plans:

The total price you will pay depends on a couple of factors:

  • The type of IP’s you’ll get (dedicated, semi-dedicated, rotating, sneaker, Shopify)
  • The number of IP’s (you can get from 5 to more than 5 thousand proxies)
  • The length of subscription (from 1 month to a year)
  • The country (some countries don’t have all kinds of proxies and are also more expensive than others)

When you sum all of this up, to get a good deal, you’ll have to pay hundreds or even thousands of dollars monthly.

That’s too expensive for datacenter IPs.

More affordable proxy providers: Proxyland

Residential proxies are superior to datacenter proxies.

For this reason, they are also more expensive, but you can find some very affordable providers.

Proxyland is an excellent example. You’ll get:

  • Top-notch residential proxies
  • Large proxy pool
  • Pay as you go options, without the need for subscriptions of any kind
  • The price of data is only $2.9 per GB
  • The range of use cases is much broader than with Blazing SEO
  • More than 100 countries
  • 99% uptime
  • Fast response
  • Unlimited concurrent connections
  • Intuitive dashboard

Is Blazing SEO Any Good?

Blazing SEO is good if you want datacenter proxies for general browsing and similar stuff.

In that case, you won’t have to buy many proxies, and you’ll get an OK price tag.

BUT, if you are want to use them for something more serious such as market research, be prepared:

It’ll cost you a small fortune for a few months of use.

Why You Should Try Blazing SEO

  • If you want only datacenter proxies.
  • If you have a big budget to spend.
  • They are safe to use.

Why You Should NOT Try Blazing SEO

  • It is overpriced for the features you get.
  • They don’t sell residential IPs.
  • No pay-as-you-go option.
  • Limited locations.
  • If you want to use Blazing SEO for a long time, you’ll have to pay a lot of money.
  • Unsuitable for individuals and smaller companies.

The Best Alternative To Blazing SEO

If you are not too fond of restraints in Blazing SEO’s features, Proxyland is the best alternative I could find.

Not only does it offer residential proxies, but it is more affordable, at only 2.9 dollars per GB of data. And the data doesn’t expire!

Blazing SEO: Overall Score

Quality: Blazing SEO datacenter proxies are high-quality. ✅

Trustworthiness: It is a legit company. ✅

Performance: The response and uptime are great. ✅

Features: I wish they were more diverse. ❌

Price: Pricing plans are by no means budget-friendly. ❌

Accessibility for small businesses: Not the best. ❌

Affordability: Only OK if you need it for a month or so. ❌

You’ll pay through the nose for Blazing SEO, and you won’t even get the premium features or residential proxies.

That’s why I suggest Proxyland that has both.
